'Beat The Summer Blues' with Oxjam Brixton

We are delighted to be hosting our launch party at the Brixton Clubhouse where we will be joined by a host of brilliant local artists and DJs for a fantastic summer night of fundraising on the gorgeous Brixton Clubhouse terrace.

With a focus on local artists and a line-up that includes !Bombo Tropical! DJs, DJ Zinc Fence (Catch A Fire Reggae), the London City Reggae Choir and the Brixton-based collective Cpanel DJs Balofo back-to-back with Nomic, the launch party will set the standard for the Oxjam Brixton Takeover. More acts to be announced.

Just to add to the fun we also have two masseurs from the Brixton Therapy Centre offering 20 minute massage sessions for £10 throughout the night.

!Bombo Tropical! bring you an eclectic mix of old classics to heavy tropical bass from the Congo to Colombia.

DJ Zinc Fence (Catch A Fire Reggae) brings Catch A Fire to Oxjam Brixton, with the very best in reggae music on the decks with the finest live reggae acts.

The London City Reggae Choir is London’s premier choir of Jamaican ancestral rhythms, featuring new beats from ska to dancehall to new roots reggae. The choir sets reggae music free again and takes you on a journey from classic, soulful songs to passionate, dynamic tunes guaranteed to get your whole body moving. The London City Reggae Choir features singers and musicians of Jamaican, French, Belgian, Australian and English origin.

The Brixton-based collective Cpanel DJs Balofo and Nomic will go back-to-back for the evening, spinning Latin, reggae and African inspired beats to get the crowd moving and the sun shining.
