The seminar is run by the National Council for the Training of Journalists and will feature talks from key industry figures including Martin Keene OBE, group picture editor at Press Association and Ian Wright, a former photographer with The Sunday Times who now works freelance around the world. Ian will speak about his experiences and career that saw him photographing rock stars including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix, the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and personalities like Alfred Hitchcock and Frank Sinatra.

Ian is also an alumnus from the very first NCTJ press photography course in 1964 and following the seminar there will be a reunion of students from this course, all of whom went on to have successful careers.

As well as hearing from the speakers, there will also be the chance to learn about the different career options and find out about training opportunities.
