Spend an evening at the British Academy listening to Marc Morris and Tracy Borman exploring the Norman Conquest.

On the evening, we'll be in the august surroundings of the British Academy in the heart of central London. Tracy Borman and Marc Morris will each deliver a 30-minute talk. Then there will be time for a discussion with the audience, before we conclude with an opportunity to buy signed copies of Marc and Tracy's books.

The speakers:

Marc Morris is a historian and broadcaster who specialises in the medieval period. He has taught at the universities of London and Oxford. He presented the 2003 TV series 'Castle' and has written a number of books including a biography of Edward I and, most recently, 'The Norman Conquest' (Hutchinson, 2012). His website is marcmorris.org.uk

Tracy Borman is a historian and author who has also worked for a number of heritage organisations. Among her books are 'Elizabeth’s Women: The Hidden Story of the Virgin Queen' (Jonathan Cape, 2009) and a biography of William the Conqueror’s wife, Matilda, which was published last year by Jonathan Cape.
