"Quite possibly the most interesting band on these shores at the moment..." The Guardian

'Mask & Muscle': a contemporary presentation of life drawing and portraiture at Core Arts, with invited guests Alex Daw, Luke Hannam, Alyson Helyer and Damien Meade. A host of artists work, made at Core Arts during the course of the last year, is presented alongside four contemporary artists, also working in London's east end. The alternative approach to the human figure that they are engaged in, complements Mask and Muscle's robust approach to these most traditional of fine art disciplines and highlights the alternative strategies to art and mental health that Core Arts pursues.

Running concurrently with this show is 'Gary Molloy: A View To Locomote' paintings, drawings and prints reinforce Gary's strategy towards Bi-Polar disorder.

To beak down the stigma associated with people suffering mental distress; change the negative perception and to proceed into a place of acceptance.

To present Bi-Polar in a different light: Believe In Possibilities Outside Life's Average Realm
