This free-to-attend 2-day waterfront carnival will also promote conserve the Indian Tiger and bring about an awareness for saving the endangered animal.
In true South Indian tradition, this iconic and high-spirited Mela will serve up a veritable feast of traditional South Indian cuisine, handicrafts, dance, music and more.
Art and artistic talents from India especially the four prominent states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will be showcased. In addition an array of riverfront stalls will offer festival-goers the chance to sample Ayurvedic health and beauty treatments, home spa massage oils and food while also offering information on holidays to South India including yoga and wildlife safaris, for luxury seekers and those on a budget.
