A night of readings to launch the first issue of Different Skies.
There are essentially two types of writing in the world - love letters and CVs. And the world's not big enough for the both of them. You're either writing CVs to the world or love letters to the world. Different Skies is shooting for the second.
Issue one, 'Worldwide Heartache', launches on Friday 28th of September. We'd love to see you there, we've got some stories to tell you.

ABOUT
Different Skies publishes writing that falls between the categories of the creative and the critical. For want of a better label: experimental criticism and creative non-fiction. Prose, particularly the essay form, is at the centre of our field of gravity; although there are other forms pulling us in different directions, and the publication does not exclude poetry.
Issues are published quarterly online and print-on-demand. The website is the main hub, with plans for various paper productions striking out from this, including books, pamphlets, postcards and posters. Our design ethos is to make online reading an attractive experience.
Different Skies is also a space for writers to push their work collectively. The publication holds monthly writers meetings where potential contributors can share their work, alongside a series of live reading events.
