The Drawing Room

The Drawing Room invites some of the most exciting and talented designers currently working in 2-D media to produce an original artwork based on an everyday object that they love or admire. These 2-D creations will be presented alongside the objects that inspired them, offering a refreshing alternative to the plethora of products and furniture on show around the city during the London Design Festival. A classic Casio watch, the brilliant BIC pen, a matchbox and an anglepoise lamp are among the objects that have inspired artistic and emotive responses from our handpicked crop of designers.
