Chagossians is a photographic portrait study of the people of the Chagos Archipelago and their descendants. Between 1965 and 1973 an entire population were forcibly removed from their homeland by the British government to Mauritius and the Seychelles to make way for the US to construct one of the largest and most secretive air and naval bases in the world.

The base, built on the island of Diego Garcia, was the launch pad for B52s and Stealth bombers to attack Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003.
