City Life Family Festival

The City’s big event for families and young people returns to Leadenhall Market on Saturday 29 September for what promises to be the biggest and best post-Olympic festival. We guarantee to keep the London flame alive and inspire your inner Olympian.

Highlights on the day include: guest appearances by the official London 2012 Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville, a real London 2012 Olympic Torch, an under 5s mini Olympics, a spectacular closing show, indoor rowing taster and competition, a 25 meter athletics track, boxing taster, table tennis competition, fitness tests/circuit, Wii fit tent, cycle rides, and guided tours of Leadenhall Market.

All your old favourites will be on hand too, the London Fire Brigade Fire Engine, City of London Police horses and police vehicles, Under 5s soft play area, the Hackney Play Bus, City of London Libraries, face painting and the City of Talent competition.
