Tackling some pretty unorthodox wardrobe conundrums, this exhibition asks a raucous band of 26 visionary artists a series of bold, bewitching and mischievous questions about fashion. Curated by Sue Kreitzman, the Wild Old Woman who created 'WOW' and 'Flashier&Trashier', DARE TO WEAR wonders...

"What should we wear on the way to the afterlife?"
"Will wearing beige really kill you?"
"Will flamboyance set you free?".... (and more...)

DARE TO WEAR puts the spotlight on adornment: exaggerated depictions of jewellery and clothing. We look at both from the point of view of talismans, amulets, superstition, storytelling, psychological and spiritual armour, disguise, exuberance, weird joy, and - of course - art. Our materials are usually salvaged, frequently kitsch, often surprising, and we use them to tell profound and colourful stories.
