Swimathon

Swimathon is a nationwide swimming challenge, which began in 1986. The event encourages swimmers across the UK to swim a variety of challenge distances at their local pool and raise money for charity. Since established, more than half a million swimmers have taken part, raising over £38 million for charitable causes.

Swimathon 2013, 26-28 April, will give thousands of swimmers the opportunity take on Swimathon’s established Distance Challenges, including the Individual 5k, Individual 2.5k and Individual 1.5k! Up to five people can also create a team to take on the Team 5k and Team 1.5k challenges. All challenges are in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
