The superb young musicians of London’s prestigious Royal College of Music (RCM) come to Beckenham to present a programme of hugely enjoyable orchestral music.
The RCM Philharmonic’s virtuosity will be showcased in two works by RCM alumnus Benjamin Britten: his thrilling Canadian Carnival and his well-known Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, plus Dvořák’s lively Scherzo Capriccioso and the orchestral suite from Kodály’s Hungarian folk opera Háry János (which famously opens with a ‘musical sneeze’!).
The Royal College of Music draws the very best young musical talent from across the globe, with impressive orchestral performances that continually attract high praise from press and audience members alike. Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to witness the orchestral stars of tomorrow, today.
