Opera Studies Series (Evening Lecture-recitals & Dinners) Divas & Scholars

Acting in Opera - with renowned opera singer Donald Maxwell. Part of the Divas & Scholars - Opera Studies Series - an evening course for opera lovers with stars of the opera world including Danielle de Niese and emerging singers from the National Opera Studio. After the lecture-recitals we have dinner with our illustrious speakers and performers so attendees can meet them and discuss opera. Baritone Donald Maxwell has performed major roles in the international opera houses and since his Royal Opera House debut in the 1980s has performed there many times. He will be joined by mezzo Angela Simkin and pianist Laeticia Ruccolo for this event. They will perform scenes to illustrate his talk.
