Tarantino’s Hateful Eight Roadshow To Preview At Odeon Leicester Square As A Uk Exclusive

UK film fans looking for the full, epic western experience of legendary director Quentin Tarantino’s latest film The Hateful Eight need look no further than ODEON Leicester Square in the New Year.

From January 8th, ODEON Leicester Square will be the only place in the UK to watch the spectacular 70mm Roadshow of The Hateful Eight, with the new western – already receiving widespread critical acclaim – presented in the unique, stunning Ultra Panavision format, as Tarantino intended it to be viewed.

With an all-star cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Tim Roth, The Hateful Eight sees eight strangers in post-Civil War Wyoming seek shelter from a deadly blizzard in a stagecoach passover – add a high-value prisoner into the mix, and none are guaranteed to make it out alive.

The 70mm Roadshow version of The Hateful Eight will be the only place that film fans can view an extra 20 minutes of unseen footage, with the 187-minute extended cut film featuring an intermission and even a rare, exclusive overture by legendary composer Ennio Morricone (Once Upon A Time, A Fistful of Dollars), as well as receiving an exclusive roadshow programme.

The film is written and directed by legendary film-maker Quentin Tarantino – his eighth film with previous hits including Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. Having visited the Leicester Square cinema at the films premiere, Tarantino praised the ODEON projection expertise and chose Leicester Square to host this presentation of the footage which was captured through a rare camera lens.
