In The Forest Of Things is a showcase of final work from the graduating students of MA Documentary Photography and Photojournalism 2015 to 2016 at the London College of Communication.

Please join us for the Private View: 6:00pm January 14th, 2016.

In The Forest Of Things is inspired by a quote from the esteemed journalist Ryszard Kapuściński in which he urges storytellers committed to telling authentic stories to feel the world on their skin. The class takes up this challenge in a number of ways.

‘The literature of personal… no, thats not right. You know, sometimes, in describing what I do, I resort to the Latin phrase silva rerum: the forest of things. That’s my subject: the forest of things, as I’ve seen it, living and travelling in it. To capture the world, you have to penetrate it as completely as possible.'
Ryzard Kapuściński, 1987.

If you can not attend the Private View, you are very welcome to attend the Public View.
