Macmillan Cancer Support’s very own ‘festival of running’, Run Regent’s Park, will take place in London’s Regent’s Park on Sunday 11th June 2017. With a 10k and 5k distance to choose from, as well as a kids’ mini run, there’s something for the whole family, which makes it the perfect opportunity to get together your very own Team Macmillan.

Taking place in one of London’s most beautiful and iconic parks, Run Regent’s Park is ideal for seasoned runners and novices alike. So whether you’re a keen runner, are running in memory of someone special or just want a new challenge, round up your friends and family, pick your distance and sign up today to help Macmillan support people affected by cancer.

Marion Buggins, Challenge Events Programme Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, says: “Run Regent’s Park really is an event for the whole family. You don’t need to be an experienced runner to take part and the atmosphere on the day will be enough to carry even the weariest of legs around the course!

“There are 2.5million people living with cancer in the UK. By taking part in Run Regent’s Park, you could help Macmillan ensure nobody has to face cancer alone. The money raised through registration fees and sponsorship will be used by Macmillan to provide practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer.”

The standard registration fee for the 10K and 5k races is £20 and entry to the kids’ mini run is free. The recommended sponsorship goal is £100 but runners are encouraged to challenge themselves to see how high they can go.
