Merchant Square is proud to be part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival and showcase the Floating Pocket Park as part of this wonderful mixture of horticultural happenings and green celebrations.

On the 2nd of June they will be hosting Chelsea Fringe Talks where you can find out more about the Floating Pocket Park.

12.30pm Talk by garden designer, Tony Wood
          A talk about the challenges of this project, his considerations and why he has chosen the final planting and design.

6.00pm ‘Growing Afloat’ Facebook Live Q&A session with Sue Cotton and Julie Clark

                The Canal & River Trust is invites you to an evening of advice and information for budding waterway gardeners as part of the charity’s Boats in Bloom awards, and to coincide with the Chelsea Fringe Festival.

7.00pm Talk by brand ambassador Renu Sunak for London Essence

The London Essence Company have produced a range of skilfully distilled mixers that are inspired by natural flavours. These include the Classic Tonic, Grapefruit and Rosemary Tonic, Bitter Orange and Elderflower Tonic and Ginger Ale. The talk will discuss the choice of flavour combinations and how the infusions are created, as well as giving guests the opportunity to sample the drinks.

8.00pm Talk by brand ambassador Michael Foster for Monkey 47 (gin), Pernod Ricard

Gin tasting and learning experience – guests will receive a welcome drink of Monkey 47 and tonic and then be guided through a brief history of gin and production, including how botanicals fit into the process. Towards the end of the session, guests will learn more about the specifics of Monkey 47, along with a tasting of the range.
