Welcome return to HDIF for Sean Price of Fortuna POP!, who'll be playing his usual floor-filling set of indie pop and northern soul. We'll also be celebrating 25 years since the release of "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars" by David Bowie, which came out on June 16th, 1972. We'll be playing every song from the album over the course of the night. We had loads and loads of fun doing the "Hunky Dory" special last year, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

A few minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube station, The Phoenix is a wonderful basement bar that's hosted soul and indie nights for the last 30 years. It has a lovely wooden dancefloor, a great sound system, and a bar serving pints at pub prices.

We play:

The Smiths * The Supremes * The Go-Betweens * Dusty Springfield * Belle & Sebastian * Love * Tammi Terrell * Aztec Camera * The Ronettes * Orange Juice * Beach Boys * The Temptations * Velvet Underground * Felt * The Shangri-Las * Primal Scream * Otis Redding * The Field Mice * Dexys Midnight Runners * Camera Obscura * The Four Tops

“Legendary indie club” - NME
“A speakeasy for anyone who suspects that their life is one big Smiths song' - Big Issue
'Absolutely the best night in the whole of the world!” - The Guardian
“Much-loved indie pop institution” - The Quietus
'This hugely popular night knows there are few better ways to enter 2017 than with a soundtrack of classic sixties soul and the most danceworthy janglepop and shimmering indie tunes.' - Time Out
