Curated by industry legend Tony Moore, Rock the Strand will showcase an eclectic range of genres from indie alt-folk to country from emerging new talent and established acts, highlighting the UK’s varied and diverse musical landscape.

The event is completely free to attend with revellers being treated to over three hours of live music, with three acts hitting the stage in the hotel’s Lounge Bar.

Line Up

7:15pm - Alex Sypsomos
Singer/songwriter Alex Sypsomos considers himself a citizen of the world! He studied music at The Berklee College of Musicians in Boston, but it was prior to all that, when he moved to Bangkok, Thailand at the age of 7 that he that he found a true love for people and cultures spanning the globe, giving him constant inspiration for his acoustic music.



7:45pm - Drew-Levi 
Drew-Levi is a 24-year-old pop singer/songwriter who is currently finding his rightful place in the music industry. He taught himself to play piano after being inspired by Sir Elton John, having briefly met him whilst being in the Original Cast of Billy Elliot The Musical back in 2005.



8:45pm EMMAY
Hailing from Liphook, Hampshire, EMMAY are a sibling trio consisting of Aimée Mackenzie on electro-acoustic guitars and lead vocals, Freya Mackenzie on violin and backing vocals and Ross Mackenzie on Cajon. The trio have recently supported Nizlopi, Show of Hands and Blair Dunlop.


9:45pm - Tony Moore + guest appearance from ILONA

Tony's long and eclectic career in the music business includes being a founding member of Iron Maiden at the end of the 70s, and as the keyboard player in Cutting Crew. For the last few years he has also been co-writing, producing and touring the world with emerging artist ILONA. Tony is currently recording material for a solo album having just released the lead single, a powerful ballad called Perfect And Beautiful.
