In homage to our glorious past - after the House was restored in 1893 it served as the Waterlow Park tearoom for 70 years- we're introducing Cabaret at Tea Time with a ticket offer that combines afternoon tea plus cabaret ticket. On leaving school Debby Bishop joined The Combination Theatre Company performing in Pirates and One Gun Salute before moving to the Royal Court Theatre to play the lead in Reggae Britannia and Rose in Edward Bond's Restoration. Debby's other theatre credits include Ada Pearl in The Wiz (Sheffield Crucible and The Lyric Hammersmith), co-star in Blues in the Night (Donmar Warehouse and The Piccadilly Theatre). She also co-starred as Dinah Andrews in The Cotton Club (Aldwych) and as Ameiia in Ain't Misbehavin' (Tricycle and The Lyric). Debby has worked frequently in television starring opposite Lenny Henry in two half-hour specials and was part of the comic team that performed in the live TV series Jasper Carrott's Ad Lib for the BBC. She played Bella in Widows for which she received Personality of the Year. Her film work includes Blue Money in which she starred opposite TIm Curry, Phoebe in Sid and Nancy with Chloe Webb and Gary Oldman and she's worked with various recording artists including Freddie Mercury, Spandau Ballet, Squeeze and has recently finished an album of her own with her band which is based in Milan.

David has recently been seen in the original cast of Tim Firth and Gary Barlow's new musical The Girls. He was the recipient of a Lionel Bart Foundation Scholarship and a 2014 finalist in the Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year Awards. David played Walter Grubb in Howard Goodall’s The Dreaming at the Union Theatre.

Workshops include Pete Gallagher's A Teenage Opera playing the lead role of Finn. Chris Bond’s musical play BIG TIME! playing the role of Lionel Bart in various readings and the role of Ricky Sterling in the 2015 concert version at Theatre Royal, Stratford East.
