This summer, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has collaborated for the fourth time with The Nomad Cinema to launch its Summer in the Square campaign. The Grosvenor Film Festival will launch on the 7 July as a three-week pop up in Grosvenor Square featuring a large screen showing a host of classic, cult and modern movies to the public. The collaboration is unique, with 100% of the event profits donated to The Sustainability Institute in South Africa.

The stunning Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair will offer the public a wealth of events and activities as part of Summer in the Square. As part of this offering, The Grosvenor Film Festival will provide London residents and guests alike with a beautiful outdoor setting in which to watch one of their favourite movies.
Every evening during the pop up, guests will be invited to dress up in the theme of the film (helped by a 15% discount from Angels with each ticket purchase) and welcomed into an intimate summer setting in the centre of London. The grand, grassed square will be dotted with sun loungers alongside food and drink stalls with the offering taking inspiration from each film on show.

Each evening, Salt & Dry will be bringing their fleet of extraordinary cooking vehicles to Grosvenor Square. Cooking up a storm from their burnt-out Morris Minor with a chargrill at its core and their classic Mini Cooper fit out with a pizza oven, they will be bringing specially tailored menus for each performance.
Ticketholders can expect smoky, tender real Dixie style BBQ, Roman style pizza-al- metro, 12-hour smoked pulled pork and smoked hot wings and Vesuvio pizza topped with salami.

In addition, guests will be privy to an impressive selection of pre-screen entertainment relevant to each film. Danceworks will choreograph a La La Land flash mob, Matthew vanKan will croon his way through the classics from Casablanca and renowned opera singer Olivia Safe will set the scene with renditions of ‘Queen of the Night’ and ‘Ophelia’s Death Scene’.
