Quaglino’s is set to launch Q Legends , a homage to iconic stars from the stage and screen, as part of their debut summer series. Kick starting from 18t h July through to 31s t August, Q Legends encapsulates the vibrant history of Quaglino’s from the booming 1920’s to the present day, via an eclectic mix of entertainment from live music to movies.

Bringing soul to Mayfair the summer series includes a star live music line up of Alexander O’Neal, George McCrae and Rose Royce’s Gwen Dickey, plus a special performance as a tribute to the legendary Whitney Houston. Alexander O’Neal will be performing a special live set on Thurs 27th July. With his name, firmly in the R&B history books, Alexander O’Neal has been entertaining audiences for over twenty-five years. The American artist has achieved acclaimed success with his smash hit ‘Criticize’ and has enjoyed success with his top ten hits as well as a triple platinum album.

The Godfather, La La Land and Goodfellas will be the legendary favourites screened as part of a deluxe menu and movie evening. Sit back and relax with wireless headphones whilst being served a bespoke sharing menu inspired by each film alongside fizz and wine.

The entertainment continues with two murder mystery events inspired by legendary detectives Inspector Clouseau from Pink Panther and Poirot on Wed 19t h July and Wed 23r d August. Fans of the whodunnit genre, can join both immersive theatre productions and whilst solving clues can enjoy a decadent three course meal alongside Quaglino’s finest cocktails.

Throughout the summer series, Quaglino’s legendary mixologists have created an exciting array of luxurious cocktails, that celebrate the icons of past and present and Quaglino’s heritage. Launched in 1929, at the height of American prohibition, Quaglino’s has stood the test of time through the decades and famous faces that have frequented the doors. A selection of wine and champagne inspired by iconic stars across the decades will be served throughout as part of the Q Legends experience.

The new cocktail menu includes fresh exquisite cocktails such as The Martinez, named after The Grand Martinez Hotel where the founder Giovanni Quaglino first worked as a maître d’hôtel. The Grand Opening themed on the restaurant which was open in 1929 by and quickly became a favourite haunt of royalty. The Hutch , a tribute to Leslie ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson, one of the most popular cabaret entertainers of the twentieth century who took London’s café society by storm and regularly performed at Quaglino’s and not forgetting the star of the menu The Time Machine.

The climax of the Summer Series ends with the pairing of two iconic artists that will see disco fans dancing on the tables on Thursday 31s t August . Disco supreme George McCrae, the innovator of the classic " Miami Sound” and one of the biggest selling pop records in history – ‘Rock Your Baby’. George McCrae will be joined by Rose Royce’s Gwen Dickie queen of the 70’s classics ‘Wish Upon a Star’, ‘Car Wash’ and ‘Love Don’t Live Here Anymore’.
