This very special one-off show will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Roy Orbison’s famous Black & White Night concert.

Roy Orbison tribute singer, Londoner Dave Collison, will recreate the atmosphere of the memorable show from 30 years ago where the Big O teamed up with a range of talented performers including Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, KD Lang and T Bone Burnett to perform his best-known hits. The entire concert was filmed in black and white and remains one of the late singer’s most memorable concerts. It was also one of his last televised performances before his untimely passing in December 1988.

Dave will cover exactly the same set-list as the original concert. Backing singers for the original show included KD Lang, Jennifer Warnes and Bonnie Raitt, so Dave has carefully chosen female backing singers with the same vocal style to match the sound as closely as possible.

The two-hour set will include renditions of the late singer’s best-known hits, including Only The Lonely, In Dreams, Crying, Oh, Pretty Woman, Claudette, Running Scared, It’s Over and many more.

The audience is encouraged to get into the spirit of the event by dressing in black and white.
