Following on from Last year’s successful series of talks on the 18th century garden, this Autumn Strawberry Hill house will be offering a course on the Arts and Crafts Garden. The talks, held in the historic rooms of the house, will look at arts and craft garden design within it broader cultural context, examine its origins, key characteristics, role of Gertrude Jekyll before concluding with the spread and legacy of the movement. All talks will be delivered by experienced lecturers, including Stephen Smith, Cherrill Sands and Sandra Pullen.
