Bourne & Hollingsworth Presents: The Prohibition Party 10th anniversary special

Return to the hedonism of the of the Roaring Twenties with The Prohibition Party, taking place on Saturday 30th September 2017.

Celebrating our 10th birthday this September, The Prohibition Party invites London’s most glamorous pleasure seekers to lose themselves in a riotous celebration of 20s opulence. Travel back to a time when footloose flappers danced the Charleston, card sharp cads tried their luck at the roulette table, and everyone quaffed on the free-flowing bootlegged booze.

An evening of unbounded revelry, The Prohibition Party is London’s landmark immersive 1920s party, blurring the boundaries between audience and performers. Guests are transported back to a bygone era and invited to enter a surreal and illicit world set in the arches below a central London station. Inhibitions are shrugged aside at the hidden bars, live music demands you get footloose, and morals are forgotten at the roulette tables, as the underground drinking den comes to life for one night only.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary this September, those more adventurous guests may participate in a special pre-party experience, where they will interact with certain shady characters and wheedle their way into a secret party room using guile and deceit. On gaining entry to the “Chinese Laundry”, guests will be rewarded with a cocktail as they rub shoulders with a cast of racketeers, good-time girls and under-cover cops.

For those inclined to hone their Charleston steps to perfection tickets are available for a dance class from 7pm-8pm priced at £40, and cover the 1 hour dance class prior to the event, plus access to the party.
