The Weekend Itch - Taster Day to join Chickenshed's Youth Theatre

Chickenshed’s Youth Theatre is a place for individuals to flourish. With increasing support for our members to create their own programmes throughout the year, both YT1 and YT2 groups offer a thoroughly rounded approach to inclusive theatre practice with the additional opportunity of a BTEC First Qualification.

Chickenshed practitioners are inviting young people age 13-17 who are interested in performing arts to spend an afternoon creating innovative theatre in our unique and inclusive environment.

Through a series of workshop games we will work together to create new pieces of theatre that draw upon your ideas. If you want to share and develop your passion for writing, performance, movement, music or simply have something to say and are ready to listen, then come along and get a flavour of what it’s like to be a member of our Youth Theatre here at Chickenshed.
