Armed Man Suite by Karl Jenkins - Workshop

City Chorus invites you to join us for a one-day workshop on the Armed Man Suite by Karl Jenkins. This is one of the most popular modern choral pieces, frequently broadcast on Classic FM, and regularly performed by choirs across the world. The Suite sets the traditional words of the mass (Kyrie, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei) as well as part of Rudyard Kipling’s poem Hymn before Action. The complete Armed Man: A Mass for Peace (from which the Suite is taken) was commissioned by the Royal Armouries Museum for the Millennium celebrations, and was dedicated to victims of the Kosovo crisis. Music Scores provided. Registration will begin at 11.15am. The workshop will start at 11.30am. Tea and coffee will be provided for morning and afternoon breaks. Lunch will be 1pm to 1.45.
