Art and Design transcend borders - both physical, paper borders and those between nations. Explore the Designs On Britain exhibition after hours and enjoy fun crafts, talks, interactive workshops and more in this event programmed by students from UCL's MA in Museum Studies:

- Join West London print studio, Underway Studio, to make your own collage inspired by the posters in Designs On Britain. Replicate the designs or let your imagination run free!

- Browse the range of vintage Penguin titles or books on émigré architecture available for sale from Skoob Books. Whilst you are there, learn more about emigre design in the history of publishing from Chris Edwards, owner of Skoob Books.

- Practice your calligraphy skills in this lettering workshop with Ivo Grantins! Learn to construct beautifully formed calligraphic letters in Bertholde Wolpe’s Albertus typefont with pencil and ink and take home your work of art at the end of the night.

- Enjoy this screening of the documentary Refugee Britain: Designers at Work (dir. Robert Sternberg and Anna Nyburg). Learn about the design contributions made by four refugees: Hans Schleger (Graphic Designer), Elisabeth Tomalin (Print Designer), Tibor Reich (Textile Designer) and a contemporary refugee, the Pakistani textile designer Salah ud Din.

- Buy beautiful cards, note cards, prints and notebooks from Type and Story, a contemporary paper goods brand with a graphic design twist born out of a need to find meaning in visual language.

- Round your night off with music from guitar and sax swing duo, TwoSlashTwo.

- All night, enjoy free entry to Designs on Britain.
