To celebrate the premiere of the new Man v. Food series, Food Network has created the Official Man v. Food Challenge destined to break all New Year’s resolutions and available at The Roadhouse, Covent Garden from 2nd February 2018.

While 65% of Brits are eating healthier in January, it is clear that it’s not gym and meal prep on their minds. New research from Food Network reveals that 1 in 10 Brits opting for a healthier January are day-dreaming about indulging in delicious cheat treats for more than half of every waking day and this Man v. Food Challenge is sure to get them salivating.

The whopping 3kg burger consists of six patties, each injected with a different cheese including; Jalapeno, Stilton, Monterey Jack and Red Leicester making it ooze and bubble at every bite. Layered into the leaning tower of patties is a big apple hot dog, honey roasted ham, smoked ham, roast turkey, streaky bacon, chilli beef, American Cheese and lettuce all very careful balanced between a soft brioche bun. This stack of meaty, cheesy goodness will be served with a generous one-pint jug of cheese sauce for pouring on top, a pile of fries and onion rings.

The new series of Man v. Food premieres on Saturday 27th January and it promises to entertain with its well-loved format. Hailing from East Coast America, food enthusiast Casey Webb is stepping up to the plate as the new host of Man v. Food. He continues the legacy of taking on the most insane food challenges from across the America, from the Belt Buster in Charleston to Milwaukee's infamous Commish sandwich.

Phillip Luff, Managing Director, UK & EMEA, Scripps Networks Interactive said; “Man v. Food is back on our screens with new food challenges and a brand new host. There hasn’t been any official Man v. Food challenges here in the UK as of yet, so we thought it’d be a perfect time to bring the love of bigger and bolder food to life.”

The belly busting meal will be available at The Roadhouse restaurant in Covent Garden from 2nd- 16th February between 5:30-8:30pm and must be booked directly via the restaurant by calling 020 7240 6001. For the first 50 people brave enough to rise to the Official Man v. Food challenge, the meal will be free. There will be a maximum of ten challenge spaces available per day, first booked, first served. Thereafter it will be priced at £30 and can be enjoyed free of charge if you can clear your plate within 15 minutes!
