Double bass player David Silk has been running and hosting an exciting array of unique jazz-based events for over 40 years, with a wide and varied roster of musicians and artists. He will transform Mycenae House - a former convent – into a fabulous jazz club with great acoustics and a stunning grand piano (kindly donated by Markson Pianos). Tonight his star guest is multi-instrumentalist Sim Murray, who plays saxophone, flute, clarinet and violin, and is a member of the Greenwich Mean Time Quartet. Hosting the event will be David Silk with a full supporting cast of other truly wondrous musicians and fabulous guests.
