Ever wanted to know more about who you are and where you come from? It turns out that Brits actually derive the majority of their DNA, 60%, from Europe, according to new genetic research by AncestryDNA.

And to demonstrate our enduring genetic and cultural links, following centuries of migration from the continent, AncestryDNA is taking over Observation Point on 15th February with a giant interactive message board, so you can record your own #EuroPartOfMe message for Europe.

Maybe you have European family and friends, speak Spanish like a local, or simply love a weekend away in Paris – whatever your reason, AncestryDNA want to hear your message for our neighbours, regardless of how you voted.

Your voice will join a chorus of celebrity ones from both sides of the Brexit debate, from the worlds of TV, comedy and politics. The #EuroPartOfMe film will get bigger and longer throughout the day as more messages are received, captured live through the screen’s video booth or shared via social media.

The first 100 stars of the #EuroPartOfMe film will also receive a free AncestryDNA test (worth £79, 18+ only).

AncestryDNA’s #EuroPartOfMe will be at Observation Point, by Gabriel's Wharf on the South Bank, between 10am - 6pm.
