UK Asian Film Festival

UKAFF celebrates 20 Years with a national programme of female-centric screenings and events.

The festival marks 100 years of women’s right to vote in UK with F-Rated theme and feminist content film curation, illuminating unsung female hero of the UK Suffragette movement, Sophia Duleep Singh.

The Opening Gala will welcome Pakistan’s biggest superstar, actress Mahira Khan, and pioneering Indian cinema veteran and talk show hostess, Simi Garewal.

The Gala will kick off a week of screenings and Q&As across the nation, in London, Leicester, Manchester, and Edinburgh.
