Catch two hilarious shows from 2017’s Edinburgh Fringe in this double bill. Winner of Dave’s Joke of the Fringe Award, Ken Cheng, presents his debut hour for the last time. Alongside this hour of stand-up, The Canon: a Literary Sketch show (for which Ken is a writer) perform their book-themed sketches.

**KEN CHENG: CHINESE COMEDIAN**

Dave Joke of the Fringe Award Winner Ken Cheng brings his debut Edinburgh hour to the British Library! A Cambridge mathematician dropout and now professional poker player, Ken applies his unique analytical brain to stand-up. Ken burst onto the UK comedy scene after reaching the final of the 2015 BBC New Comedy Awards. Since then, he’s performed at festivals around Europe and was listed on the BBC's New Talent Hotlist as a rising star to watch.

**THE CANON: A LITERARY SKETCH SHOW**

'The Canon, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. The – Ca – non: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. The. Ca. Non.' The Canon is an irrepressible sketch show featuring an all-star cast of literary favourites, from Shakespeare to E L James. We're like SparkNotes, only funny.
