Have you started your own business, taking freelance gigs or thinking about taking the plunge to work independently in your career after maternity leave?

Let's talk! Join us for an informal luncheon and networking session to discuss challenges, swap tips, and support each other to be #bettertogether.

This event is co-hosted by Kube Family Network and Kinfo part of the #MAMAMEET2018 campaign to start a dialogue about making the world a better place for all mothers. We know that the "parenting penalty" is a real issue for a lot of local mums in the workforce, and as a result many of us have turned to entrepreneurship or freelance work in order to have a more flexible working setup. This meetup is envisaged to start a dialogue locally about how we can support independently working parents in our midst.

On the agenda...

Kinfo founder, Isabelle Delmas, will be sharing tips about how cultivating recommendations from your clients can help you to grow your business, and she'll provide concrete tips on how to start harnessing the power of word of mouth recommendations today. Kinfo is a local app dedicated to curating recommendations for families, by families

Kube Family Network founder, Malorie Schecter, will be taking comments and suggestions for ways that our local community of mumpreneurs can better support each other, and will be sharing details of the new resources that Kube is launching this spring! Kube Family Network is dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the entrepreneurial women and families in our community, and is working hard to develop shared resources to help all of our small, local businesses succeed.

Network, network, network - we know word of mouth referrals and networking is a massive lead generator for small businesses, so let's make some connections! Bring plenty of business cards, and start working on your elevator pitch!

Tickets £5 and include coffee, tea, and light lunch.

Family-friendly networking! This is a baby, child and breastfeeding friendly event.
