Pearl & Groove Floral Afternoon Tea comes to Bluebird for the Chelsea Flower Show!

Famed Portobello Road bakery, Pearl & Groove, have teamed up with Bluebird to create a floral themed afternoon tea for Chelsea Flower Show, 22nd till 26th May. The tea will be served alongside The Botanist Gin cocktails in the charming sunny courtyard.

The royal wedding takes centre stage at this years Chelsea Flower Show as the chosen theme. Bluebird are working with Pearl & Groove to make an afternoon tea inspired by the royal couple’s favourite flavours including elderflower, lemon and gin, to replicate the couple’s wedding cake and pistachio and rose water. The elegant Pearl & Groove cakes will be featured on a tea stand alongside poppy seed and lemon cupcakes; three tiered victoria sponge cakes; traditional scones with jam and cream and a selection of delicate sandwiches. The tea will be available from Wednesday 23th till Sunday 27th May in the bright courtyard and ordered with a glass of champagne, pot of tea or the perfect accompaniment, a Botanist gin cocktail.

Bluebird have worked with The Botanist Islay Gin to create a special floral cocktail to accompany the afternoon tea, Royal Garden. Made with infused rose petal The Botanist Islay Gin, Maraschino and rhubarb liqueur, lemongrass cordial, fresh thyme, raspberries and rose aromatic topped with rose sparkling wine.
