Gin aficionados rejoice - toast World Gin Day and embrace your wild side this weekend with The Botanist, the first and only Islay dry gin.

Together with Drink Up London, The Botanist is partnering with a number of London bars, encouraging gin lovers to try something new, using forage inspired creations. A selection of seasonal cocktails will be available at The Gibson, Mac and Wild, Demon Wise, 214 Bermondsey, The Blind Pig and Rosewood London, each available for £6 with the purchase of a World Gin Day wristband.

Running from Thursday 7th – Sunday 10th June 2018, World Gin Day LONDON will be the first global amplification of the World Gin Day event; a four-day festival dedicated to celebrating gin across the capital.

To celebrate World Gin Day in style, The Botanist will also be bringing the spirit of Islay to Holborn, by hosting The Botanist Greenhouse in the Edwardian Courtyard Terrace of Rosewood London, launching with a unique gin and foraging masterclass this Saturday, 9th June at 3pm. Hosted by brand ambassador Abigail Clephane, guests will be invited to explore the heritage of The Botanist, whilst using foraged ingredients to garnish their own The Botanist and Tonic, paired with seasonal canapés. Tickets are priced at £45 pp and can be purchased via the Drink Up London website.

Hand-crafted and distilled on the Scottish island of Islay, The Botanist is a truly unique gin and a representation of the region’s progressive heritage. Nine classic gin botanicals are augmented with 22 local herbs and flowers, all foraged responsibly by hand by botanical scientists from the hills, shores and bogs of this Hebridean Island.
