Zahara – the African Music sensation will be performing live, accompanied by a full a full band, at London’s Under the bridge. The special performance will feature some of her world-famous hits from her previous record breaking albums such as Loliwe, and Phendula with notable songs such as her popular tribute to the great Nelson Mandela.

Her modest background from the informal settlements of Phumlani in Eastern Cape, South Africa to her meteoric rise to super stardom and her impressive achievements within the music industry, bears as testimony and an inspiration to many disadvantaged youths across the African continent. Zahara, whose album ‘Loliwe’ remains an uncontested ground-breaking phenomenon by any South African artist. Her subsequent albums such as ‘Phendula’ also went on to break records and receive critical acclaim. She is well revered in the African continent and beyond, having toured and sold out in countries such as Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Congo, Zambia, Uganda, Nigeria, Mali, Botswana, Mozambique, Kenya, Senegal and Angola among others. Zahara’s UK debut was in 2011 for the iconic “Africa Unplugged” concert at Wembley Arena. She has since been regularly gracing its shores and that of places such as the USA and Canada much to delight her multitude of international fans. Her new offering ‘Mgodi’ has already broken numerous records by reaching gold status within just 24 hours of its release and boast a duet with American superstar Kirk Whalum among others. Zahara is well known for her legendary collaborations. She is passionate about making music with the best of the best in the African continent and abroad which has seen her collaborate with prominent Nigerian, Congolese, Zimbabwean and Senegalese artists and American aritists.
