Visit Lithuania’s Secret Forest At St Paul’s Cathedral

Visitors and locals to St. Paul’s cathedral have a rare and unique opportunity this June to explore Lithuania’s secret forest – The Building Site. Designed by renowned landscape architect Sigita Simona Paplauskaite, it is an urban installation located outside the South Transept of St Paul’s Cathedral that leads to Millennium Bridge and the Tate Modern. This installation will be available to the public until 30th June when the London Festival of Architecture concludes.

During weekends, The Building Site, is home to a programme of cultural events and are free to attend. These include experimental performances, poetry readings and documentary film previews – all of which respond to the subjection of ‘City & Nature’. This also of course ties into Lithuania’s 100th anniversary celebrations taking place throughout the year.
