Battersea Power Station will this week launch its annual Power of Summer programme, a series of fun summer activities including outdoor screenings of Wimbledon and a selection of movies, comedy nights and children’s games all to be enjoyed at Circus West Village, London’s newest riverside quarter which is now home to over 1,000 residents.

The summer programme offers a glimpse of the exciting things still to come at Battersea Power Station, which will become an entirely new town centre for London comprising thousands of new homes (available to buy now), offices, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and open public space. See below for residential sales and leasing contact details.

The Battersea Power Station Summer Programme:
Sports fans will this summer be able to relax in deckchairs on the riverwalk with the iconic Power Station in the backdrop as they enjoy the best of Wimbledon on the big screens al fresco.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy their favourite movies riverside on a sunny afternoon, with matinee showings of Hollywood classics including Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Some Like It Hot and Singin’ in the Rain, on from 26 – 29 June at 2pm daily. Those looking for a fun after work activity can enjoy the evening showings of cult classics including E.T., Clueless, Forrest Gump, The Sound of Music and Cool Runnings, which will be on screen at 7pm daily from 26 June – 9 July.

Drinks, nibbles and delicious treats will be available at the restaurants, bars and cafes at Circus West Village including sourdough pizza from Mother, cocktails at No. 29 Power Station West, Italian food at Fiume and seafood at Wright Brothers. The Battersea General Store is the perfect place to pick up the essentials for an indulgent picnic on the riverside.

Kids’ movies, including Shrek and Toy Story, will also be shown at the weekends at 2pm on the big screens outdoors.
