Share an Evening Inspired by the Rioja with Campo Viejo

For three nights only, foodies can share an evening with Campo Viejo at Casa Campo Viejo, sampling the vibrant lifestyle of Spain through mouth-watering food, wine and stimulating conversation.

From humble origins in the Rioja in 1964, three entrepreneurs Juan Alcorta, Jose Ortiguela and Jose Bezares wanted to share their creation not only with the people of the next village, but with the people of the next town, the rest of Spain and ultimately the world. They were united by a passion to create that would bring families and friends together around a table to share food, wine and laughter – and it is this belief that inspired the creation of Casa Campo Viejo. Uncorking in London, this special experience will share the contemporary delights of the Rioja region at Paper Mill Studios, City Garden Row from Wednesday 29 August to Saturday 1 September.

The immersive evening, created in partnership with EatWith - the world’s largest community for authentic food experiences - will bring people together around good food, wine and personalized moments. Guests will be served a bespoke dinner paired with Campo Viejo wines and take part in an escorted wine blending session as well as uncovering other colourful surprises – all designed to ignite the senses and plunge guests into the rich lifestyle of Campo Viejo.

Renowned Spanish chef Xabi Bonilla from San Sebastián will draw on 20-year’s cooking experience to create a contemporary five-course meal inspired by Campo Viejo’s culinary culture and reflects the heartbeat of modern Spain.

Campo Viejo Wine Ambassador Maria Huete will accompany guests throughout the evening, taking them on a sensorial adventure to reveal the craftmanship that goes into every bottle of Campo Viejo.

Diners will also learn the secrets behind each bottle of Campo Viejo through a guided wine blending session, giving them the rare opportunity to design, blend and take home their very own hand-made bottle of wine to share with others.

Being generous with each other and taking time to share these experiences is deeply ingrained in our culture. The Casa Campo Viejo event, which honours our home and our roots, will bring this heritage to life in a contemporary and exciting way, and welcome guests to experience our generous and warm way of life.
