Join the Heath Robinson Museum and Steve Marchant, Learning Manager at London’s Cartoon Museum, for a special day exploring cartoonist Heath Robinson’s role in World War One. As well as designing government propaganda about the war, Robinson played a role in cheering on the soldiers struggling on the front, sending humours cartoons and writing letters.

Tour the museum and view some of these artworks and letters in a special pop up exhibition together with museum staff in the morning, and then create your own cartoons inspired by what you have seen with the help of Steve Marchant in the afternoon.

Please note: lunch break is from 1pm-2pm (lunch is not provided) and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
