Film screening: Free Men (Les Hommes Libres)

Maghreb Cine's November screening is a World War II drama, Free Men (Les Hommes Libres; certificate 12), at Old Manor Park Library, 835 Romford Road, London, E12 5JY.

Free Men recounts the little-known true story about the role that North African Muslims in Paris played in the French resistance and as rescuers of Jews during the German occupation.

Doors open 6.30pm, feature starts shortly after 7pm. Tickets are £7, concessions £6, and are available on the door only.
