Queer Attraction Lab

Looking for a date night with a difference, or looking to find a date? Ever speculated what drives those LGBTQ+ *sparks* to fly? Or wondered what science has to reveal about queer attraction? Then take part in a masterclass in magnetism at The Glory, hosted by SHAYSHAY, drag artist and empowering queer activist, aided and abetted by leading attraction scientist VIREN SWAMI as Dr. Lust.

You’ll take part in pairs and be invited to throw on blindfolds as you’re guided through a series of entertaining and interactive rounds to explore the role touch, sound, taste and other senses play in attraction. You'll be swapping partners between each round, with the chance to put your queer dating questions to Dr Lust to debunk cupid’s myths.

Each titillating round will get under the sheets to examine what science has to say about queer sexual chemistry. How much we can we really tell from a first impression? What makes a good chat up line? Does geography affect striking up connections, and what role do LGBTQ+ venues and dating apps play in this? How important is physical vs. non-physical appearance? And do aphrodisiacs really work?

Open to all, no matter where you are in your journey of love. Bring yourself, your partner(s) and your friend(s), or ditch them all to find a new playmate! Doors open from 19:30, with the event running 20:00 - 21:30.
