SHORT CUTS Awards Night + Christmas Party with Stephen Woolley

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Shooting People, one of the UK’s most established independent filmmaker networks. To celebrate, we’ve launched SHORT CUTS, a year long quarterly film competition which is focussed on career development.

At our final SHORT CUTS event of the year - December 4th - we’ll be announcing both the winner of our October competition and the overall winner of 2018, who will walk away with a £1,000 prize.

For this special end of year event, we will be hosting an in-depth Q&A with the legendary Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning film producer, Stephen Woolley.

Stephen is one of the UK’s most prolific and accomplished producers, with over sixty-five films in his storied career, including some of the most acclaimed and successful British and international films of the past three decades, including On Chesil Beach, Carol, The End of the Affair and Interview with the Vampire.

He is also producer of Colette, starring Kiera Knightly, which will be released in the UK on January 11th 2019.
