Whoop this Arcade

This November, the worlds of skating, gaming and music collide in spectacular fashion as LA-based creative genius and multimedia artist Whoopi brings Whoop This Arcade to House of Vans.

Tunnel 1 will undergo a unique transformation from gallery space to gaming paradise, complete with hand- built table-top arcade cabinets featuring three of Whoopi’s custom-made skate games. Visitors to the exhibition can expect to immerse themselves in the pixelated world of Whoopi and play three custom rhythm- based skate games each set in LA, London and Tokyo. Performing skate tricks to the beat of songs to score points, players can perfect their gaming prowess and learn about the creative process behind the show as a short film documenting a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the games will also be screened in the gallery.

Join us for the opening of the show on Thursday 15th November from 18:00 with drinks, DJs and meet Whoopi for a guided tour of the space.
