November 2018, London: As party season fast approaches, those in search of a punchy pout need look no further than Canary Wharf as it launches a pop-up dedicated to the timeless red lip later this month.

For a limited time, the new and exclusive red lip concept will feature a carefully curated edit of the full spectrum of the fiery hue drawn from the world’s very best beauty houses all in one space. Brands include Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder and MAC, as well as top picks from Space NK like Chantecaille, Laura Mercier, Lipstick Queen and many more. This will be the first time shoppers at Canary Wharf will have unprecedented access to red lipsticks from the industry’s best in what is a glamorous and unique one-stop-shop. The pop-up will be open for three days only as part of the Winter Fashion Weekend.

Finding the winning formula will be made easy with personal, one-to-one ‘lip service’ consultations from make-up artists, including a firm fixture of the celebrity glam squad – Caroline Barnes.

Caroline, who has painted the faces of actresses Rebecca Ferguson and Emma Watson, as well as superstar Kylie Minogue, will make a special appearance on Saturday 1st December between 11am and 3pm to help those in their quest for the right swipe of scarlet.

For beauty junkies, the pop-up provides a unique opportunity to experiment with the very latest releases from the likes of Bobbi Brown, Chanel and Dior or fall back in love with the beauty bestseller that is MAC’s Ruby Woo.

Caroline Barnes, celebrity make-up artist says: “I’m thrilled to be working with Canary Wharf in championing this classic look. Everyone can wear red lipstick; the secret lies in finding the right shade for your skin tone. I’m looking forward to helping shoppers in their quest for the ideal red – it’s the perfect pairing for those party season looks which visitors will see in the fashion shows across the weekend.”

A glamorous wardrobe to match
Shoppers needn’t let their lips do all the talking. Free daily fashion shows will provide an endless dose of inspiration for festive season looks. Taking place at various times across the three days, the runways at Canada Place and Jubilee Place will offer an invaluable insight into winter’s beloved fabrics, displaying everything from full on razzle dazzle to the more casual realms of slouchy sophistication.

Fashion fans can look on as sumptuous silk gets a reboot with coquettish cuts and slips with an urban edge; meanwhile, satin, the luxe fabric which has flooded social feeds since the beginning of the year, takes on a new lease of life with kimono-style dresses and blouses in colour-popping hues.

The braver can see how to take a more is more approach to party dressing as models shimmer in this season’s take on sparkle and glitter. After all, nothing screams glamour quite like heady embellishment.

Exclusive offers
Style hunters can make the most of the weekend with exclusive access to an array of discounts over the three days. Shoppers can winterproof their workout kit with 25 per cent off at Sweaty Betty; indulge in French label Maje (exclusions apply), invest in statement jewellery from Monica Vinader, or purchase their perfect shade of red lipstick from Bobbi Brown – all offering 20 per cent off. Full details of all the offers can be found online.

Shoppers in need of a rejuvenating break can put their feet up and grab a bite to eat at a choice of restaurants and bars, including Roka, Big Easy and The Ivy, Canary Wharf’s latest opening.
