Based on the classic novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland tells a tale of a girl named Alice and her adventures through a fantasy world. After following The White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, Alice lands in place unlike anywhere she’s seen before…Wonderland.

Populated by mysterious, anthropomorphic creatures, nothing is as it seems in Wonderland and Alice finds herself meeting a whole host of strange characters including the terrible, terrifying Queen of Hearts.

By the power of pantomime magic, Alice and her friends sing and dance through Wonderland, journeying together to solve the mysteries of this fantasy land. But will Alice’s imagination save her, and will she be able to leave this magical dream-world and return home?

“Directing Alice in Wonderland with The Quay Players has been somewhat of an unexpected pleasure given my background of being stuck in the orchestra pit! Bringing the characters to life and giving them a touch of panto flair has been a truly unique experience and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute. To give our show a bit of an edge, we, Musical Director, Rachel Murphy and choreographer Tim Watson and I, have blended the traditional with the modern and have incorporated a plethora of well-known songs that the whole family will know and enjoy. The cast and crew are thrilled to perform our version of this classic novel and who knows, we might throw in a few extra surprises just for panto-banto!” says Director, Mark Smith.

Featuring a host of well-known characters, a selection of fabulous songs and some classic panto comedy, this is a show you won't want to be late for!
