As part of our South Indian Cultural Open Day, join us for an introduction to the performance art forms of Kathakali and Bharatanatyam to discover how stories are told through movement and costume. This event will include a short talk, a solo Bharatanatyam dance performance and a Kia Kotti Kali dance ritual. Plus there will be a Kathakali performance of Poothana Moksham, which tells the popular Hindu story of the salvation of a demoness.
