Action for Argentina is delighted to announce that we will be holding the British premiere of the feature-length documentary film Messenger on a White Horse. The film explores the life and work of English journalist Robert Cox, the former editor of ‘The Buenos Aires Herald’ daily newspaper, whose investigative reporting in the late 1970s exposed the shocking human rights crimes of Argentina’s military dictators. The film is directed by the New Zealand-Australian journalist Jayson McNamara, produced by Cabezon films in association with Hecho en Claipole. The project has the support of a the Founding Line of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo. The film will be followed by a Question and Answer Session with its director. The event is supported by Alborada.
