With the holiday season fast approaching, online swimwear boutique, Suntribe Swimwear, is urging Londoners to recycle their old swimwear pieces when updating their summer essentials.
With the typical high-street bikini and swimming trunks being made from virgin nylon and polyester, a by-product of the petroleum industry, making small changes to how we shop swimwear can help reduce the increase in greenhouse gases and lower the use of large amounts of water which will ultimately help reduce your carbon footprint.
Suntribe Swimwear seeks to support British brands that are sustainable, meaning their production methods don't cause harm to the environment or deplete natural resources.
The Suntribe Swimwear pop-up launches in Old Street Station from 20th May - 15th June. The brand is encouraging shoppers to bring with them their old bikinis, one-pieces and trunks for recycling and receive 20% off their purchase.
